Creating a new project on RivetAI is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:
Step 1: Access the New Project Button
Navigate to your RivetAI Dashboard.
Locate the 'New Project' button.
Click on the 'New Project' button. A pop-up window will appear.
Step 2: Enter Project Details
In the pop-up window, enter the name of your new project in the respective field.
If you wish, you can also provide a description of your project in the 'Description' field. This step is optional, but it can be useful for keeping track of what each project is about.
Lastly, you will be prompted to upload a document (screenplay) for your project. Please note that only PDF (.pdx), Final Draft (.fdx), Celtx (.celtx), and Fountain (.fountain) file formats are accepted.
Click 'Next' to proceed.
NOTE: If your upload fails, ensure that no watermarks are present and the formatting of the document adheres to industry standards.
For example, scenes should be clearly indicated by INT./EXT. scene headings and spacing/margins/indentation should follow the standard format in film, TV, and commercial industries.
Step 3: Select Production Type
Select a production type for your project:
Short Film (under 40 minutes in length)
Independent Feature (Full length movie, produced outside major film studios, and therefore with a relatively lower budget)
Studio Feature (High-budget, studio-backed major production)
Documentary
Commercial
TV (episodic content designed for television, including pilots)
Select "Next" to continue.
Step 4: Select AI-Driven Autofill Features
On the final step of project creation, you may select from a list of features such as script breakdown, coverage, character breakdown, scheduling, and budgeting.
Click on the features you wish to include in your project. You may select as many or as few as you like.
Remember: Selecting these features will allow the AI to autogenerate specific parts of your project, saving you both time and effort!
If you choose not to select a feature, it will still be available in your project with no pre-filled data. In this case, you have the flexibility to manually input data for these features at any time.
Advanced Filters (Optional):
Project Start Date: Choose a start date for your scheduled shoot, or default to project creation date
Max Budget: Enter a maximum budget for your project. If set, our AI will use this figure to efficiently allocate funds across different lines items.
If you do not have a max budget in mind, not to worry! Our clever AI will find the perfect estimate based on the script, ensuring a balanced budget plan.
Click on "Create Project" and LET THE MAGIC BEGIN!
If you wish to make any changes to the AI-generated data, you can easily do so at any time, after project is created.
